Jennie Whiteside 95 of Shelbyville, IL formerly of Niantic, IL died Saturday February 28, 2004 in Olivewood Healthcare.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday March 3, 2004 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery in Niantic, IL. Jennie was born on May 15, 1908 in Amber, OK the daughter of John R. and Ethel Magee Burns. She was employed by The Holiday INN at Wyckles Corner. She also worked as a housekeeper and companion to many elderly friends. She was a member of the Berea Christian Church in Niantic, IL. She married John H. Whiteside on July 25, 1925 in Decatur, IL he preceded her in death on May 29, 1973.
Survivors are a daughter, Vickie Joe Housh of Findlay, IL; grandson, Joe Housh of Danville, IN; granddaughter, Lisa Allen of Virden, IL; great-grandchildren Zak and Kylie Allen both of Virden, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and three brothers
