Jennifer Jill Jones, 67, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be at a later date at Maranatha Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Vandalia, IL. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society.
Jennifer was born on January 14, 1947 in Moweaqua, IL the daughter of Howard L. and Mattie B. (Alsbury) Kruse. She married William E. Jones Sr. in Decatur. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God. She enjoyed he grandchildren, cooking, sewing, quilting, and was a very spiritual person. She also loved her Dog Katie.
Surviving are her daughters, Melissa M. Tatro (Richard) of Decatur, IL; and Melinda M. Weddle (Dennis) of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Eugene; sisters, Rosaline; Darlene; and Dorothy; grandchildren, Amanda (Quentin); Ricky; Steven; Chris; Ryan; Alyssa; Ashlee (Mike); Brent; and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Haley; Kylie; Maddox; and Michael Todd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Raymond and George, and sisters, Jackie and Elaine.
