Lesa Allison Hassinger
I have fond memories growing up across the road on Spruce St. watching the older "kids" be "older" and summers playing with my buddy Tim! I have memories of being over at your house and watching movies in the afternoon on “Dialing for Dollars” with Jerry relaxing after a long day of work. Even tired he had such a fun sense of humor! Even though as a child his humor would intimidate me at times I grew to learn that was Mr. Neisslie’s way of having fun! I also remember how cool it was that Jerry would whistle out the front door which signaled for all the Neisslies – time to come home! I knew that whistle meant supper was ready or later in the night it meant the kids best be getting home, the street lights are on! I hope in your time of loss you can reflect on the small moments such as these and realize in so many little ways Jerry touched so many lives. -Lesa Allison Hassinger. My deepest condolences to you and yours. Maroa, IL US
