If ever a person earned her angel wings on earth it was Joan. Loved her more than words can express. She was a beautiful lady always there for everyone. Never met a person who made friends as easily as she did. My heart is broken at the loss of this beautiful soul.
Joan was in our Sunday School at FBC., Bibles and Friends. I always called her young lady, because she was very much young at heart. Even though I didn't know her very well, she was very well versed in the bible, and such a pleasure to talk with. We will miss her very much.
It's not often that you can be blessed to know such a truly extraordinary person as Joan. I have 4 daughters and they all referred to her as Grandma Joan and loved her so very much. I honestly feel that our lives were better for having known her. We'll always think of her when we see an angel.
I helped take care of Joan at Evergreen. Absolutely loved her. Had many nights of very good conversations and good advice from her. She was the sweetest kindest woman I know. We all cried when she left Evergreen because she was so loved there by everyone. She led a very good life and loved to hear all about it. She was family. My prayers go to all of the family and know that she was loved so very much by so many people. Rest in peace Joan ❤️
I collect pigs. Joan, knowing this, would always look for pigs when we went to Cracker Barrel for lunch. I will never forget her saying "Sue there's a pig, do you have that one ?" She is greatly missed by my family. Loved her a lot!!
