My condolences to the family. Miss Shoemaker as I knew her-my 3rd grade teacher at Parsons-was one of the best teachers. She always made learning fun. Even as an adult I can remember her teaching us our math facts and memorizing the planets in order. Not realizing it so much then, but looking back, she really enjoyed teaching and truely cared for her students.
She was a kind friend and sister in the Zeta Tau Alpha ftaternity. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I loved her hair...she looked like a woman from an Art Nouveau painting.
Im so sorry for your loss. We didn't get to know her long as our neighbor but she was a beautiful,sweet lady.
