Joan H. Wolf's Obituary
Joan H. Wolf, 82, born September 3, 1929 to Harold and Leonore Hubbard of Mt. Pulaski, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2012 with her family at her side.
Joan attended high school at Sacred Heart in Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University. She married Raymond Wolf June 11, 1955 in Logan County and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2011. They were charter members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Joan was a teacher, developer, farmer, and served on numerous boards. In her always giving spirit, she donated her body to Washington University Medical School, St. Louis, MO.
She is survived by her; son, Zack Wolf (children, Jessica, Evan, and Adrienne) of Half Moon Bay, CA; daughters: Mary (Harry) Flynn children, Nick, Torrie, and Jacob) of Edmond, OK, Sheila Wolf (children, Zack and Alex) of Forsyth, and Leslie (Tim) McElroy children, Conor and Brennan) of Decatur: brothers: George (Evelyn) Hubbard and Jim (Judy) Hubbard; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be at 3 pm, Friday, August 10, 2012 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Rev. Richard Weltin celebrant. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Salvation Army, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or any of the organizations or charities Joan was involved in.
