Jodi Ann Hardesty's Obituary
MACON – Jodi Ann Hardesty from Macon, IL, passed away from this earth at the age of 39, after a prolonged illness on Friday, March 31, 2023 at her home with her love by her side.
Jodi was born on January 31, 1984 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Amy Hobbs and William (David) Hardesty Sr.
Surviving is her love Clint Bayless of Macon; her children; her father William (David) Hardesty Sr., brothers Christopher Weber (Amanda) of Decatur; Jeremiah Weber of Decatur; William (Billy) Hardesty Jr. Of Decatur; and Joshua Hardesty Sr. (Emerald) of Decatur, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Amy Hobbs, her daughter Paige, her grandparents Kenneth Hobbs Sr. And Sandra Hobbs, her Uncles Kenneth Hobbs Jr., Anthony Hobbs Sr., her Aunts Pamela Groves, and Beth Roof; and many more loved ones.
Jodi loved long car rides, looking at the clouds, enjoyed arts and crafts, loved music and was fond of pop, R&B, rap, and country music that reminded her of her mother, Amy Hobbs. She loved animals. Some of her favorite memories were vacation with her kids, tubing. She loved roses, gardening, dragonflies and butterflies, and walking with the dogs. Jodi loved decorating for Christmas.
Her laugh was contagious. She was loved and will be missed by many. Hardesty, 39, of Macon, passed away March 31, 2023, in her home. Arrangements are pending at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home.
