John A. "Jack" Jordan's Obituary
Decatur – John A. “Jack” Jordan, 79, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Decatur.
Jack was born March 18, 1936 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Keith and Mary Ellen (Wrigley) Jordan. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Jack enjoyed reading religious material and watching television. He will be missed.
Jack is survived by his brother, James “Jim” Jordan of Decatur; sister-in-law, Irene Jordan of Decatur; niece, Tina Jordan of Decatur; and several uncles, aunts, and many cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate his life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Rev. Richard Weltin, celebrant. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of the Mass in the church. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials in memory of Jack may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or to St. Teresa High School.
