John Anthony Kile, 59, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Decatur, IL, surrounded by his family. Born on November 7, 1966, in Decatur, IL, the son of Karen and Roger Gall.
John was an incredibly hard worker, proudly serving for 10 years at B&W Asphalt prior to his health declining. He enjoyed fishing, cooking on the grill, Harley’s, and nice cars, but above all else, he loved his family. He adored spending time with his beloved grandchildren. John was a notable jokester who could never fail to make you laugh.
John is survived by his mother — Karen Gall of Decatur, IL; children — Anthony “Dayne” (Michelle) Kile of Decatur, IL, Kierstine (David) Kile of Decatur, IL, Jonathan “Jordan” (Kirsten) Kile of Decatur, IL, and Gracie (King Smith) Kile of Decatur, IL; siblings — Kimberly (Deamatios) Kile of Decatur, IL and Ted (Areli) Dilley of Monmouth, IL; grandchildren — Erin, Jazmine, Braxsyn, Mason, Blaedyn, Jaxon, Khylin, and Kaesyn; special friends — Kady Parker, Kendra Parker, and many more; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his father — Roger Gall; and his favorite furry companion — JAK.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm following the visitation.
