Race time with L.D. and Lucy in Indianapolis–wasn't it martinis they had? Also stories of the latest clan adventures in Hawaii, Switzerland, others…. I was perhaps between 5-10 years old for some of these visits. I remembered him as a real "character" who always had many stories to share. More recently, I enjoyed being at his 90th/Lucy's 80th birthday. I really enjoyed his "speech"–it reminded me of Indy, the stories, the martini.Best, Julia Wilmington, DE US
Everyone has depended upon Uncle Joe for sage advice and a humorous story. He never failed in either. He will be deeply missed because he is deeply loved.
