Joseph Henry De Luca of Decatur died Sunday June 14, 2009 in his home.
Graveside services will be 12 Noon Thursday June 18, 2009 in Rosedale Cemetery Rosedale, IN. Private family visitation will be Wednesday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mr. De Luca was born on October 25, 1929 in Kansas City, MO the son of Tony and Phoebe Hale De Luca. He worked as a parts man for Auto Electric in Lincoln, IL and at Linkon Auto Parts in Clinton. In his younger years he attended school in Kenney, IL. He enjoyed driving and building Midget race cars. He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Lois Ann Jukes in Decatur on May 29, 1953 she preceded him in Death on May 11, 1986.
Surviving are his sister, Alleta Monts and husband Lowell of Clinton, IL; three nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one sister, Jean Aughenbaugh.
