Joyce E. Johnson's Obituary
Joyce E. Tozer Johnson, 73, of Decatur, died on Sunday, Mar. 12, 2006 in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Services celebrating her life will be 1 p.m. Mon. Mar. 20, 2006 in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home where a visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the service time. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in St. Maurice Cemetery, Morrisonville. Memorials are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
Joyce was born on Feb. 27, 1933 in Morrisonville the daughter of Herbert and Mary Rose Flemming Fischer. A member of the American Legion Castle Williams Post #105 Ladies Auxiliary, Joyce worked as chief clerk at the Norfolk & Western Railroad for 40 years before retiring in 1996. She married Daniel W. Johnson on June 10, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Surviving is her husband, Dan of Decatur; daughter, Deniese David Gilman of Decatur; son, Mark Becky Tozer of Decatur; brother, Robert Colette Fischer of Santa Barbara, CA; three granddaughters and one grandson. Step-children: Kevin and Keith Johnson and Michelle LaCluyse; three step-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Linda Perenchio.
