June M. Wilson-Schrishuhn's Obituary
Decatur-June M. Wilson-Schrishuhn, 86, of Decatur, peacefully passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Imboden Creek Living Center with her family by her side.
June was born June 1, 1930 in rural Chenoa, Illinois, the daughter of Gordon and Josephine (Boian) Poole. She owned/operated June’s Beauty Shop for over sixty years. June was a former member of the Elks and the Moose. She enjoyed dancing, attending plays at the Little Theater on the Square, playing cards, going for walks around the lake, and exercising at the Decatur Athletic Club. She married Paul Wilson April 5, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1986. June then married Kenneth Schrishuhn March 3, 2007.
June leaves behind her husband Ken, children Paula Murbarger and husband Jerry, Linda Wilson Klemm and husband David, daughter-in-law Sonya Evans and husband Stan, brother John Pool and wife Rosemary, sister Clara Mae “Pud” Morris, grandchildren Jared Wilson and wife Kelly, Keith Wilson, Cassy Ndembe and husband Richard, Sara Klemm, and Evan Klemm, great-granddaughters Quinn and Lena June Wilson, four stepchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and son David Wilson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Imboden Creek Living Center for all of their loving care.
Services to celebrate June’s life will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 20, 2017 in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Paw Print Ministries. Burial will be at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta.
