Karen Sue Gensler's Obituary
Mt. Zion – Karen Sue Gensler, 74, of Mt. Zion, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Karen was born on January 9, 1951, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of John and Patsy Ann (Alderson) Stull.
Preceding her in death were her parents and infant brother James E. Stull.
Karen is survived by her children: Michelle Gensler of Decatur, Steven (Jennifer) Gensler of Decatur, and Jason Gensler of Mt. Zion; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister Sherry (Mike) Leslie, brother Steve (Kathy) Stull, many nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends.
There will be no formal service. Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery.
