Karen K. Stickney's Obituary
Karen K. Stickney, 55, of Forsyth passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 in her home.
Karen was born January 20, 1958 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of John Russell and Delores “Ruth” (Barnes) Voiles. She worked at the Clinton Power Station for 19-years, and was a teacher’s aide for special education in the Decatur Public Schools. She married Michael Stickney on November 17, 2003 in Decatur, IL.
Karen leaves behind her husband, Michael; daughter, Melissa (Tim) Wolfe of Clinton, IL; son, Aaron (Kelly) Stickney of Roanoke, VA; daughter, Alexandria Stickney of Maroa, IL; son, Andrew (Stacy) Stickney of Springfield, IL; brother, Steve (Jackie) Voiles of Forsyth, IL; sister, Cathy (James) Hederman of St. Louis, MO; sister, Pam (Bob) Hunt of Mt. Auburn, IL; brother, Bryan Voiles of Decatur; grandchildren, Brennen and Brock Wolfe; and Aaliyah Bromley.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services to celebrate Karen’s life will be 1 pm Friday, December 20, 2013 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home.
