Katherine E. Pride's Obituary
Katherine E. “Kathy” Pride, 58, of Decatur, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Kathy was born December 4, 1949 in Ohio, the daughter of Leo and Dorothy Jack Jones. A homemaker and member of Oak Grove Church Of The Nazarene, Kathy married Leo “Doc” Pride on Feb. 14, 1994 in Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, Doc of Decatur; children: Terry Garner of Springfield, Melissa Darin Riley of Mt. Zion and Jason Kristi Garner of Harristown; grandchildren: Megan Edgecombe, Sydney Garner, Jesse Garner and Nicholas Riley; sister, Ellen Rick Claypool of Decatur; one niece, one nephew and many friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home where funeral services will be 10 am Thursday. Burial will take place in Harristown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Katherine Pride Memorial Fund.
