Kathleen Sue "Kathy" Fasick's Obituary
Kathleen Sue “Kathy” Fasick, 55, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in her home with her family by her side.
Kathy was born May 27, 1956 in Decatur the daughter of Lawrence and Bonita Nolte Sperry. A member of Saints James and Patrick Church, Kathy was employed at AmerenIP as a supervisor for Gas Control. She married Steven R. Fasick February 11, 1989.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; sons: Jeffrey Christine Fasick of Decatur; Adam Charlotte Fasick of MI, and Zachary Fasick of Decatur; grandchildren: Brendan, Erin, Olivia and Brogan; brother, Lawrence Sperry of Decatur; sisters: Frances Sperry of Decatur and Phyllis Phillip Marquis of Warrensburg; nephews: Nathaniel Sperry and Beau Marquis; along with many other relatives and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Patrick.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 3 to 5 pm in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be 10 am Monday, January 23, 2012 in St. James Catholic Church, Rev. John Burnette celebrant. Burial will follow in Macon County Memorial Park concluding with the “Flight Home” ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois or Saints James and Patrick Church.
