Kathryn "Katie" G. Bellows' Obituary
Kathryn “Katie” G. Bellows, 93, of Decatur, formerly of Streator, passed away peacefully, August 18, 2016, in her home surrounded by her twin daughters.
Katie was born August 13, 1923, in Streator, to Bart J. and Eva (Hogan) Reinmann. She attended and graduated from Streator Township High School. She also attended Browns Business College. She married Edward L. Bellows in Streator, IL on January 15, 1949. He passed away January 4, 1993. Katie was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes. She was a secretary for MacArthur High School for many years and retired in 1985.
Katie was a member and office holder of the Elks 401 Auxiliary, active in bridge and belonged to a number of bridge clubs, served on the City Board for a number of years as well as held various offices in the local golf leagues. She also volunteered with Decatur Memorial Hospital Clinical Research, DMH Cancer Registry, DMH Hospice and DOVE.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Beverly Ann Atkins of Decatur and Barbara Ann (Mark) Wetta of Wichita, KS; one grandson, Luke (Kristin) Wetta of Wichita, KS and one great-grandson, Kaleb Wetta of Wichita, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Decatur. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 with liturgical prayers recited at 4 p.m. in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park in Harristown. Memorials may be directed in lieu of flowers to DMH Hospice or Cancer Care Specialists.
