Kathryn L Gribbins' Obituary
Decatur- Kathryn L. Gribbins, 89, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Fair Havens Christian Home.
A private family service to celebrate the life of Kathryn will be held at the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Entombment will be in the mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Patrick's School Fund.
Kathryn was born October 7, 1922, in Worth, Illinois, the daughter of George and Josephine (Norman) Rust. She married Norman Gribbins on January 10, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1989.
She is survived by her daughter; Linda (James) Tueth of Decatur; grandchildren, Alex Tueth, and Laura Tueth; nieces, Peggy (Mike) Wuchitech, Deb (Bill) Jackson, and Sharon Wheatley, and nephew; Rick (Denise) Wheatley.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters; Ethel Wingo, and Mae Wheatley, and brother George Rust.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fair Havens Christian Village for all the care and kindness they showed Kathryn.
