Sometimes it still hurts. I lost my legacy touch necklace so I'm saving for a new one. I don't think it will ever not hurt, it just hurts less.

Thinking about you again. I'm 13 now. Max us in highschool and Cameron graduated. Grandpas doing good. Grandma dee moved in with him. I'm trying to spend as much time as possible with him. I still feel a void when I think about you.

It’s officially a year since you left us behind. When I found out you died, a piece of me died on the 8th. It was the piece of me that loved arts and crafts, and cooking. I found myself lost in the missing hole that was you, and got myself in a bad place. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to fill that void again, and even if I do, it won’t be the same. I’ll never get to hear you on the phone with aunt Karen again, or see the cigarette burn out, or see you checking on your friends on Facebook. There will never be you again.
It’s been almost a year. I still find pieces of you around the house. Advil pills. Cigarette ash. Little pieces medium brown hairs. Pieces of paper with your handwriting on it. Every time I go downstairs I expect you to be there, I see you but then you disappear. I remember when I gave you one little spray of sour blast and you started coughing. I remember when you used to pronounce thing like Netflix as Netflic. I will always love you and say hi to you when I pass by the lake. I saw you yesterday. You were a pretty monarch. Say hi to Memphis for me. I saw him too. He was a little white butterfly.
