Kevin M. Clark's Obituary
Kevin M. Clark, 55, of Decatur, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Decatur.
Kevin was born June 22, 1954, in Taylorville, the son of Robert Franklin and Jo Ann Louise Spain Buck. A U.S Navy veteran of the Viet Nam war, Kevin worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He was a member of Joy Assembly Church of God and American Legion Post #257 in Stonington.
Surviving are his children: Kelly M. Clark, Bradley T. Clark, Andrew J. Clark, Rachel L. Clark and Sarah J. Clark all of Decatur; grandson, Austin Pumphrey of Decatur; companion, Mary Peters Clark of Decatur; brothers: Jon Bradley Miller of Champaign and James wife, Stephanie Buck, II of Decatur; sister, Trisha of California; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 am, Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11 am. Interment will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials: Kevin Clark Memorial Fund c/o Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, 2801 N.
