Larry Gene Becker's Obituary
Larry Gene Becker, 80, of Decatur, died May 9, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Larry was born July 11, 1937 in Decatur, IL, the son of, Everett Leland and Viola Catherine Becker. He married Bertha Mays on December 22, 1962 in Decatur, IL.
He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a welder by trade. He took great pride with his ability to build and repair all sorts of things, especially cars and small engines.
Surviving are his spouse, Bertha; children, Theresa Backstein (Ed) of Decatur, Terry Becker of Decatur, Tracey Becker of Peoria, IL; brother, Gary Becker (Bonnie) of Decatur; grandchildren, Zachary Becker and Breanna Becker both of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister
Cremation rites will be observed. There will be no services.
