Larry Paul Lydick's Obituary
Decatur ' Larry Paul Lydick, 67, of Decatur, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Symphony of Lincoln.
He was born November 11, 1945, in Princeton, IN, son of Paul Raymond Lydick and Bernell (Hovermale) Lydick-Sawyer. Larry was a member of First Baptist Church, Decatur and worked at Caterpillar until retiring in 2006. He was a dog lover and die hard Illini basketball fan. Larry married Kay Feather on July 31, 1966 in Kinmundy, IL.
Larry is survived by his wife, Kay of Decatur; daughter, Paula Renee (Paul) Dykstra of Bourbonnais, IL; son, Joshua Larry (Jodi) Lydick of Decatur; grandchildren: Mady, Bennett, Brynna, Carter, and William; brother, Keith (Karen) Lydick of The Woodlands, TX; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father.
Services celebrating his life will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. in Sandy Branch Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL.
