Lawrence D. "Larry" Sperry's Obituary
Lawrence D. 'Larry' Sperry, 52, of Decatur, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home.
Larry was born November 28, 1960 in Decatur son of Lawrence W. and Bonita P. (Nolte) Sperry. A member of Ss. James & Patrick Catholic Church and an avid gambler, Larry worked for United Automotive.
Surviving is his wife, Sheila of Decatur; son, Nathaniel W. Sperry of Decatur; sisters: Frances Sperry of Decatur and Phyllis (Phil) Marquis of Warrensburg; brother-in-law, Steve Fasick of Decatur; nephews: Zachary Fasick and Beau Marquis; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathy Fasick and brother Patrick Sperry.
Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; vigil prayer service at 4:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in St. James Catholic Church, Rev. John Burnette celebrant. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to: DMH Hospice.
