Lawrence McDade, Jr.'s Obituary
Lawrence McDade, Jr., 55, of Decatur, departed this life on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Lawrence was born in Litchfield, to Lawrence Sr. and Viola Cherry McDade on February 17, 1954. Lawrence worked in shoe repair.
He leaves not to mourn, but to cherish his memory, four sisters: Cherrie Jelks of St. Paul, MN; Luetishey Turner, of Decatur; Viola Steven Scott, of Decatur; Paula Roger, of Pepin, WI; three brothers: Eddie Wright, St. Paul, MN; James McDade, of St. Paul, MN; Michael McDade, Decatur; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Lee McDade; one niece: Loretta Clark; and one great nephew: Charmoun Scott.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pershing Estates for their care of our loved one. A private funeral will be held. The family of Lawrence McDade, Jr. has entrusted care to Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St., Decatur, IL.
