To the Hannapel Family, My husband & I have been members of St. Thomas Church for over 40 years. I had the privilege of being in a small faith community that met in each others homes with Len for several years. When we met at Len's, Phyllis would always fix a nice snack/dessert for the group. We also got to look at all of the wonderful photos of their family, and we would hear about where you lived, and what you were doing with your lives. During our meetings, we all shared many stories of our families. The "Len & Phyllis" story is one of the great love stories of all times. Theirs was a story of true love & devotion. It was also a privilege to walk with Len through Phyllis's illness and death. Len was a man of great faith. Until very recently, he attended weekly mass. I suspect there were many times that he didn't feel up to it, but you would never know it by the smile on his face. I picture him as he was greeted by St. Peter walking upright, with no more aches or pains, hearing "Well done, good & faithful servant," and being met by the love of his life, and other friends and family there to welcome him. I offer my condolences to all mourning Len's death.Prayerfully,Renee Saunches
