Roy & family,
I was saddened at hearing that Leota has passed when I went to Springfield for a visit. I will always be thankful for the time I got to spend with her at women's group, friendship club, and church. I remember calling her sauerkraut on her not do good days just to see her sweet smile! Prayer for all!!

Condolences to the family of Leota. Roy my prayers are with you. May GOD keep you in his care. I've known Leota and Roy for more than 10 years. We have shared some good day and some bad days. We had a lot of good and fun times together. Leota loved purple and wore big smile when she wore purple. She was a down to earth person who will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace Leota I will miss you. Leota always welcomed me with a big smile and a warm hug on sunday mornings at The Salvation Army Springfield Corps. She was my quiet cheer leader as I stumbled through my teenage years and during the "big decision" moments of my life. Praying for Roy and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
Grandma and I did not spend much time together since I live so far away. The time we did spend together was very valuable to me as she is the only grandmother I had. We made the best of my short visits and we're able to have lots of laughs. I'll miss her…
