Leroy Wilks, born on January 14, 1942 in Clark, Tennessee passed from this life into eternal life on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at St. Mary’s hospital
Leroy attended Eisenhower High School and was employed with Caterpillar for 35 years and also served with Macon County Sheriff Dept. for many years of service.
Leroy is survived by his sister Floridia Hill of Detroit, Michigan, Margaret Ward (Joseph) of Memphis, TN, Laverne Carruthers (Beotis) of Memphis, TN, Floyd Wilks (Gloria) of Memphis, TN, Michael Wilks of Memphis, TN, Doris Thomas (Lawrence) of Memphis, TN, Charles Wilks (Cleo) of Memphis, TN, his sons Leonus R Wilks (Magally) of Redlands, Ca, Travis L Wilks (Michelle) of Carpentersville, IL , Julian M. Wilks of O’Fallon, MO and his fiancée Jenny Short, Marcus L. Cook of Decatur, Illinois, his daughters Yolanda M. Jones of Indianapolis, IN, Tenille S. Wilks of Decatur, Illinois, Patricia Wilks of Denver, Colorado, and Pam Wilks of Denver, Colorado, 21 grandkids, 3 great grandchildren, numerous aunts & uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his mother, sister and maternal grandparents.
