Lester Ray Patterson's Obituary
Lester Ray "Pat" Patterson Sr. 67, of Decatur passed away on Monday September 20, 2010 in his home surrounded by his family.
Pat was born on October 26, 1942 in Decatur the son of Jim Davis and Mattie Helen Cook-Patterson. He worked for Mueller Company for 20 years and then went to work at Holiday Inn until retiring. He loved doing yard work, spending time with grandkids and fishing. He married Betty Muex on November 5, 1977 in Decatur.
He leaves not to mourn but cherish his memory his wife, Betty; sons, Raymond Lester Patterson of Indianapolis, IN; Lester Ray Patterson Jr. Bobbi of Pleasant Hill. MO; Douglas Eugene Patterson of Decatur; Fredrick Patterson of Decatur; Gary L. Muex Marquette of Decatur; daughters, Pamela Seals Gregory of Jackson, TN; Shirley Muex-Graves Lee of Decatur; Cathy Muex of Decatur; 20 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; a host of cousins and friends; special friends, O.T. Outlaw and Wilbert Manns.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Larry Muex and L.V. Muex.
Service celebrating Lester Ray "Pat" Patterson Sr.'s life will be 11:00 am Friday September 24, 2010 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor Roland cook officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Betty Patterson.
