Linda L. Williams' Obituary
Decatur – Linda L. Williams, 80, of Decatur, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, in Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Linda was born on July 12, 1940, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Margaret (Moler) Bundy. Linda worked as a cook for 15 years at Webster-Cantrell Hall and volunteered for many years at Catholic Charities Resale Shop that she enjoyed immensely. She married Paul Williams on November 9, 1957, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1996. Also preceding her in death are her parents, one sister and three brothers.
Linda is survived by her children: Janice (Alex) Vassil of California, Robin (Dennis) Murray of Macon, Paul Williams, Jr, and Todd Williams of Decatur; seven grandchildren: Tara, Lisa, Derek, Gage, Colleen, Kevin, and Drew; three great grandchildren: Brayden, Vivienne, Vincent and one on the way; five very special brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Our mom was an avid Cub fan who loved her Cubbies and watched all the games. She enjoyed reading and most of all spending time with her family. She was a loving, caring, and generous mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by all, will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 1 pm at South Macon Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities Resale Shop.
