Lois Lucille Davis' Obituary
Lois Lucille Davis 93 of Decatur formerly of Springfield and Waverly died Thursday February 21, 2008 in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 am February 25, 2008 in the Waverly East Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 ' 4:00 pm Sunday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
Lois was born on October 17, 1914 in Murrayville, IL the daughter of William and Mary Ealy Richards. She worked as a book keeper at the Bootery in Springfield. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Rosalie Schroeder and husband Bill of Decatur, IL; Lois D. Reed of Puyallup, WA; Patricia Ann Duke and husband Fred of Mesa, AZ; sisters, Marjorie Herr and Alice Brown both of Springfield, IL; 19 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Wilbur, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
