Lois Nadine Sparks' Obituary
Decatur-Lois Nadine Irene Sparks, 92 of Decatur passed away 1:30 am Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Fair Havens Christian Home.
Lois was born on October 27, 1918 in Flat River, MO, the daughter of Lawrence and Pearl Roberts Bradley. Lois married Elmer O. Sparks on July 31, 1937 in Terre Haute, IN.
Lois is survived by her daughters Naomi husband – Jack Boneham of Escondido, CA; Juanita Anderson of Kennewick, WA; Sharon husband – Gary Marcus of Decatur; her grandchildren Michelle Todd of Temecula, CA; Richard Anderson of Kennewick, WA; Terry Anderson of Casper, WY; Anita Anderson of Greenwich, CT; Jon Anderson of Helper, UT; David Lourash of St. Angelo, TX; Christopher Lourash of Decatur, IL; Julie Lourash of Decatur, IL; many great-grandchildren’ and several nieces and nephews.
Lois will be reunited in Heaven with her parents Lawrence and Pearl, her husband Elmer, her sisters Mae Spencer and Naomi Harris, and her brothers Paul Bradley and Vernon Bradley.
Funeral services to celebrate Lois’ life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at graveside in Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Donald Horath officiating. Services will conclude with the “Flight Home” ceremony. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Wednesday at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be directed to the Hillside Bethel Tabernacle Church.
