Lorene Mitchell's Obituary
Lorene Mitchell 72 of Decatur went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2006 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Home going services will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 15, 2006 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Bishop Mark Bond Officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Lorene was born on May 7, 1934 to Ida and Allen Madden in Blytheville Arkansas. She was a homemaker a devoted loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by anyone she met, always willing to help. She confessed Christ at an early age. She was united in Holy matrimony to Odell Mitchell in 1952.
She leaves to cherish fond memories here husband Odell of Decatur; children, Darren Carolyn, Debra Frank, and Gwendolyn all of Decatur; Brenda Clarence Booker of Petersburg, VA; Seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She has two sisters Almalene Robert Woods and Lillie Wilbur Kittle of Key Largo, FL.
Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and seven brothers.
The family would like to thank two special nurses at Aspen Ridge, Melody Wilson and Lorrie Miller.
