Loretta J. Jestis-Lindsley's Obituary
Loretta J. Jestis-Lindsley, 85, of Decatur passed away at 3:38 am Wednesday November 02, 2005 in Lincoln Manor.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be 11 am Saturday in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to be given in Loretta’s name to St. Mary’s Hospital. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is assisting the Jestis-Lindsley family with these arrangements.
Loretta was born in Monticello, IL on September 10, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Rhoda Whitney Todd. She married Robert Olen Jestis , Jr and he preceded her in death on February 05, 1971, then she married Joseph L. Lindsley, he preceded her in death on December 04, 1974. She worked as a Housekeeper for St. Mary’s Hospital for eight years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Loretta leaves behind her loving children, three sons; Steven Jestis wife, Sharon of Oreana, Richard Jestis wife, Billie of Ratcliff, KY and Michael Jestis wife, Karen of Snowflake, AZ, two daughters; Sandra Earl husband, Morris of Terre Haute, IN and Lisa Purdeu husband, Dennis of Decatur. Thirty grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren.
Loretta was preceded in death by both of her husbands, one brother, 2 sisters and three sons; Robert Jestis III, David Jestis and Gerry Jestis.
