Loretta K. Kocher, 100 of Decatur, IL died at 10:55 A.M. Friday October 25, 2002 in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Funeral Liturgy will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 29, 2002 in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Private Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later time. Memorial may be made to St. James Catholic Church or to the charity of the donor's Choosing.
Loretta was born on November 29, 1901 in Newton, IL the daughter of Albert and Mary Schmidt Kessler. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a member of St. Elizabeth Sodality of St. James. She was a long time Stanley Home Products Dealer retiring after 33 years in 1978. She married Albert J. Kocher on June 28, 1927 in Decatur, IL he preceded her in death on August 11, 1981.
Surviving are her son, Norman Kocher and wife Sharon of Decatur, IL; daughter Marilyn Pittman and husband Hoyt of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law Mary Kessler-Logan of Newton, IL; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Her parents, husband, and one brother, William "Bill" Kessler, preceded her in death.
