My Aunt Loretta always had kind words and love for everyone, love for her family and friends, and love for God. I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. She was the very definition of love and will be dearly missed. Deepest sympathies for her children and grandchildren. Love,

Loretta babysat me also my grand-daughter with lots of love in between. She was a living definition of love. We were lucky to have known her!!

When I was a kid, I was lucky to have Danny as my friend and would often spend time over at their house. I was saddened to hear today that Loretta passed last week and pray that her family is making it through this difficult time.

As a kid growing up, I remember the “Kemper Insurance” group getting together for the semi-annual picnic at Nelson Park, Fairview Park, or Scoville Gardens on Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend to kickoff and end every summer. In addition, the New Year’s Eve parties that were hosted by either the Butterfields, Zingales, you, or my parents are epic in my memories.
I last saw Loretta at my Mom’s funeral in 2017 and appreciated that you and she were there. I know that my parents always valued their friendship with her and you. She will be missed.

Aunt Loretta and Uncle Dave were such a big part of the Wrigley family gatherings. I remember that Loretta, Dave, and the kids would come over to my Mom and Dad's house on the weekends in the summer. They would join their other brothers and sisters and play cards and the kids would play outside even after dark. They had such a great time and so did we as kids. Memories like this with Aunt Loretta are cherished times not to be forgotten and always to be remembered with such joy. Heaven has another angel to watch over us and we have another angel to thank for being such a wonderful and special person.

Loretta watched our kids - Drew and Ben - until I quit working in Decatur. When she first saw my daughter Drew as a newborn baby, she told me "this baby is an old soul". Drew is now almost 21 years old, and Loretta was correct. When she first saw Ben as a newborn baby, she told me "there will be a lot going on behind those big brown eyes" and to always remember there was more to Ben than meets the eye. Ben is now 18 years old, and Loretta was correct. 100% on both of them. I so appreciated her wisdom and kindness (still do), and thank her and Dave for helping to shape my kids into the people they are today. Rest in Peace Loretta, and thank you.
