Lornie Lavern Logue's Obituary
Lornie Lavern Logue 72 of Argenta died Sunday June 29, 2003 in his home.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Thursday July 3, 2003 in Friends Creek Cemetery Argenta. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Gerber State Bank. Condolences can be made to the family at www.jjmoran.com.
Mr. Logue was born on March 15, 1931 in Beecher City, IL the son of Jake and Ora Sue Badman Logue. He was a self-employed contractor. He was the lead singer of Lornie and His Country Lads. He married Marilyn Morohl in St. Louis, MO on May 13, 1950.
Surviving are his wife; children, Benny L. Logue Pam of Oreana; Carl L. Logue Shelly Kane of Forsyth; Terry L. Logue of Argenta; Mary Ann Davis John of Dalton City; and Patty Harbin of Argenta; brother, Floyd "Pete" Logue Edie of Argenta; sisters, Fleta Mesaros Jim of Ten Mile, TN; Vivian "Toots" Klitzing Arland of Altamont; Maggie Sue Emery John of Thebes; sister-in-laws Patricia Stearns Robert of Decatur; Carol Black Robert "Wayne" of Las Vegas, NV; and Nancy Goken of Gilbert, AZ; brother-in-law, Matt Marohl Ruth of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Christina; J.W.; Carrie; Ange; Philip; Mickey; Kyle; Kelly; Jason; and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Austin; Nadia; Sacha; Tyler; Corey; Codey; and Peyton; step-grandchild, Kirsti; step-great-grandchildren, Christopher; Colton; and Skylar; and his faithful companion Topper his dog.
His parents preceded him in death.
