Louis A. "Lou" Calabro's Obituary
Lou was born on December 12, 1927 in Council Bluffs Iowa, a son of Sebastian and Sebastiana Ingalise Calabro. He married Linda Kennedy on November 2, 1996 in Decatur, and she survives.
Lou was employed by Bishop’s Buffet for 25 years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church where he volunteered many hours. He was also a past member of the Peoria Rotary, and a Air Force veteran of WWII.
Surviving are: his wife Linda of Decatur; son, Michael Edward Calabro, wife Kathy of Peoria, daughters: Annette Boucher, husband Gary of Peoria, Pat Ary, husband Dave of East Peoria; brothers: Joseph Calabro, wife Yvonne of Vallejo, Ca., Sam Calabro, wife Jackie of Council Bluffs, Ia., and Anthony Calabro of Honey Creek, Ia.; sisters: Pat Elder, husband Don of Pinole, Ca., and Carmella Calabro of Vallejo, Ca.; 8 grandchildren, Jason, Danielle, Christian, Olivia, Elizabeth, Allison, Gabriel, and Colette. 1 great granddaughter Lauren.
Preceded by his parents, 1 brother Fred and 1 sister Angie.
He was loved by all, and will be greatly missed.
