Louise Atchason's Obituary
Decatur- Louise Rose. Atchason, 94, of Decatur passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate the life of Louise will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the North Fork Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Louise was born July 10, 1917, the daughter of Jack and Murt Spangler. She married Paul Atchason in 1940 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was a wonderful homemaker and also worked for Caterpillar and Staley’s prior to devoting full time to the care of her family.
She is survived by her son; Don Betty Atchason of Taylorville, grandchildren; Karin Atchason, Sherry Atchason, and David Atchason, great-grandchildren; Kyra, Isabella, Josh, Zachary, and Drew, and eight great-great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister.
