Louise Thomas' Obituary
Louise Thomas, 91, of Decatur, died Wednesday, September 18, 2008, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Louise was born in Arthur, IL, December 2, 1916, the daughter of Chester and Lillian Harminson. She grew up in Lovington, IL. She later married Kenneth Thomas on April 13, 1934. They moved to Decatur where she resided with her daughter until her death.
Louise worked for the Decatur Kite Factory for 3 years, Brown Shoe Company, Sullivan for 10 years, Houdaille-Hershey for 9 years, finally retiring from A.W. Cash Valve in Decatur after 23 years.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Patsy Leland Wright of Clinton, Shirley Dale Bowers of Decatur; 5 grandchildren, Keith Kathleen Wright of New Mexico, Brian Cindy Wright of Vermont, Pam Wright of Springfield, Lisa John Weatherford of Decatur, Dale Anne Jeff Tuggle of Decatur; 8 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both brothers; her sister; and Polly Wright Gill, her granddaughter.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and memorial services will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Kola for his personal care.
Louise was the heart of her family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
