Lucille Kimble-Jones' Obituary
Lucille Kimble-Jones, 86, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008.
Service will be Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 am in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Lucille was born September 30, 1922, in Decatur, to August and Emma Ponewash Tomalla. She married Charles Kimble in St. Charles, MO on August 11, 1940. He preceded her in death. She later married Floyd Jones in Decatur on September 28, 1996. He also preceded her in death. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff on the 5th floor at Aspen Ridge for their many years of care to Lucille during her stay.
Surviving are her children, Ronald Kimble Patricia, of Decatur; and Judith McDuffie Joe, of Oreana; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles and Floyd; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Dunn Lee; and one sister, Lillian Lasco.
