Lucille Ducey O'Connor, 94 of Springfield, formerly of Decatur, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 16, 2003 in St. Joseph's Home, Springfield.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday in J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home with a vigil prayer service at 4:45 P.M. Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsfield IL. Memorials to St. Patrick Catholic Church renovation fund. Lucille was born in Pittsfield on November 24, 1908 the daughter of James Anthony and Mary Smith Ducey. She was employed for a time at Houlidale Hershey in Decatur and then the State of Illinois where she worked as a stenographer before retiring. Lucille was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and Gem City College in Quincy. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Surviving are her sister, Florence Staab of Reno, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death.
