Lucille Marie Richmond, 91, of Decatur, formerly of Manhattan KS, died on Tuesday, Mar. 15, 2005 in St. Mary's Hospital.
Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life will be 10 a.m. Sat. Mar. 19, 2005 in Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fr. Joe Molloy celebrant. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Fri. in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home where Rev. Mr. James Ghiglione will conduct a vigil prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be Mon. Mar. 21, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina KS. Memorials are suggested to: St. James Catholic Church Pastoral Care.
Lucille was born on Mar. 04, 1914 in Wilson, KS. the daughter of Joseph and Mathilda Dolichek Jarus. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Lucille, along with her husband Dale, owned and operated Lucille's Fashions & Beauty Salon in Manhattan, KS. She married Dale Richmond in 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1987.
Surviving are her daughters: Patricia Richmond husb, Rod Greene of Mt. Zion; Daleen Richmond of Ambler, PA; Geraldine Richmond husb, Steven Kevan of Eugene, OR; grandchildren: Kathryn and Austin McDonald of Silver Lake, KS; Dustin Richmond and Bryan Kevan of Eugene, OR.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dale Richmond, Jr.; brother, Joseph Jarus, Jr.; two daughters: Marilyn Richmond and LuAnn McDonald.
