M. Leona Bourisaw's Obituary
Blue Mound – Leona Bourisaw, 84, of Blue Mound passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 in Heritage Health Care in Mt. Zion.
Leona was born on September 23, 1932 in Cadet, MO the daughter of Pete and Gertrude (Polite) Burford. She was a member of Our lady of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mt. Zion, Koinonia Fellowship and was a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital. She married Martin Bourisaw on November 26, 1953 in Desoto, MO. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2009.
Surviving are her children, Denise Rudd (Phil) of Blue Mound; Michael Bourisaw (Camille) of Glenview; Susan Kastelic (John) of Lake Jackson, TX; Pete Bourisaw of Blue Mound; grandchildren, Kelly Daub (Brent) of San Clemente, CA; Jonathan Rudd (Meg) of Chillicothe; Breanne Kasprzyk (Mike) of Springfield; Brittni Kastelic and Zach Kastelic of Kansas City, MO; Tanner Bourisaw and Trey Bourisaw of Blue Mound; great-grandchildren, Brody Daub, Kiki Daub, Addie Daub, Molly Daub, Jack Kasprzyk, and Martin Rudd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Don McCourtney.

The family will host a Celebration of life 11 AM – 2 PM Saturday, September 23, 2017 in the Blue Mound Civic Center.
