Marcella M. Lindgren's Obituary
Marcella M. Lindgren, 98, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Fair Havens Senior Care.
Marcella was born June 13, 1922, in Windmere Township, MN to Joseph H. and Martha (McLevis) Pukropp. She married William K. Lindgren, Sr. on November 13, 1942. He passed away September 23, 1991. Marcella was an executive secretary for Illinois Power for 39 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Marcella volunteered for Meals on Wheels, enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bowler. She traveled all over the United States with her family for her bowling events.
She is survived by her son, William K. (Pati) Lindgren, Jr.; four grandchildren, Michael (Suzie) Lindgren, Michelle Dalluge, Mark (Leslie) Lindgren and Marcie (Matthew) Naber; six great-grandchildren, Ashley Dalluge, Chloe (Mark) Cable, Lauren Lindgren, Luke Lindgren, Andrew Lindgren and Emily Naber; one great-great-granddaughter, Athena Cable.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother and one sister.
