Marcy Lee Sutters' Obituary
Mrs. Marcy Lee Sutters was born January 5, 1951 to Juanita Webster and Meddie Dampier, both of whom preceded her in death. Marcy was the second eldest of four children. Marcy received her education at Mac Arthur High School.
She passed away on December 3, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
She was united in Holy Matrimony, to Eddie Sutters in 1977. They were the loving parents of three children, Michelle, Eleanor and Milicent. She worked at Wagner Casting for over ten years. Marcy furthered her education to be a certified nursing assistant and was employed at Aspen Ridge for over fifteen years. Two of her talents were sewing and cooking.
Strong, creative and outgoing are only a few words to describe Marcy. She provided encouragement to many and touched so many lives in a way that only showed how truly blessed she was. The knowledge and wisdom that she has passed on to family and friends will never be forgotten. She will always be deeply missed.
Marcy leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eddie Sutters, three daughters; Michelle Walker of Edwardsville, IL; Eleanor Robert Conley of Decatur, IL; and Milicent Sutters of Tomah, WI; dearest friend and family member, Rosemary Reed, brothers, Meddie Lewis and Shelton Webster and sister Anita Gibson, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Ozell Banks officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home.
