Such good memories of Margaret and Bob and the family all the years I came by with the mail on W. Cushing Street. Especially one Christmas time when all the family was home together. Margaret invited me in to have lunch with the family. Such a wonderful time...lots of laughs! and I expanded my lunchtime that day! (Shhhhh!) Margaret was such a wonderful person and always aware and reaching out to the needs of others. We were all better because of her. We are very sorry we didn't know of her passing earlier. Our hearts and prayers are with all of you. Jim Gandy (the Mailman) and his wife, Judy.

I remember the great times all of us had growing up in Normal. Your mother was always so full of fun. I can still hear her voice calling you in for dinner or just time to come home. Funny how years later both families eventually ended up in Decatur. Kathy, it's been too many years since we last connected. Lots of fond memories of your mom and dad. Mrs. Gooding was one of the cooks at Pershing School when I went there back in the 60's. She was so nice to all of us and I loved seeing her everyday at lunch time. She would always smile and say hello.
