Margaret Lanter Waltz 78 of Decatur of Decatur died Wednesday July 18, 2007 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Monday July 23, 2007 in Macon County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 pm Monday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home.
Margaret was born on June 30, 1929 in Weldon, IL the daughter of John and Laura Dawes Choate. She was a retired LPN from the Wabash Hospital.
Surviving are her daughters Alice Holle Darwin of Wanatah, IN; Kimberly Erhardt of Decatur; brothers, Don Stubblefield Carol of Decatur; Robert J. Choate of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Jason Mueller, David Mueller, Joshua Lanter, Sarah Lanter, Rebecca Lanter, Angel Lanter Shawn Herron, Melissa Erhardt, and Sara Erhardt; ten great-grandchildren, step-children, Nancy Butcher Kevin, Steve Waltz, and Phyllis King Richard; nine step-grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, three sons Rodger Lanter, Dennis Lanter, and Ronald Lanter.
