Marguerite A. Riley's Obituary
Decatur – Marguerite A. Riley, 86, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014.
Marguerite was born April 5, 1928 in New York, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (McGinn) Lally. A member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Marguerite married George E Riley and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2003.
Surviving are her children: Greg (wife, Debbie) Riley of Zachary, LA, Sheila (husband, Tim) Saterlee of Mahomet, IL and Mark Riley of Aurora, IL; grandchildren: Scott, Derek, Tiffany, Tara, Zach, Bryanna, Megan and Madison; great grandchildren: Madalyn, Kinzley, Arianna, Andrew and Cadence. Marguerite is also survived by her brothers: Brendan (Rose) Lally and Jackie (Eileen) Lally of NY; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers: Joseph and Eugene.
Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Marguerite’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church; visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church. Burial will take place in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: Catholic Charities, St. Thomas Church or and Food Pantry of your choice.
