Mariana Saville's Obituary
Mariana Saville, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 3:52 p.m. on Monday (09-19-2022) in the Loft Rehab of Rock Springs.
She was born on January 9, 1931 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Frederick Jenkins and Eva (Flynn) Jenkins.
Mariana was a secretary at Illinois Power for several years. She loved bowling and bowled in leagues for many years, loved reading, doing puzzles, playing games with her sisters and especially loved her family very much.
She is survived by her two daughters: Rebecca A. Gates and husband Roger of Forsyth, IL, and Betsy J. Coleman and husband Chris of Lovington, IL.; grandchildren: Logan Gates and wife Sarah of Decatur, IL, Curtis Gates of Decatur, IL, Anna Gates of Arlington Heights, IL, Brigit Logan and husband Danny of Decatur, IL, and Katie Teegarden of Decatur, IL,; great-grandchildren: Addison, Eli, Henry, and Mac; sister: Audrey Mitsdarfer of Decatur, IL.
Mariana was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Frederick Jenkins and James Jenkins, sisters: Betty Hawbaker, Patsy Thornton, Bonnie Short, and Judy Carlson.
A visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Saturday (09-24-2022) at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association.
